A 90-minute orientation for all registered delegates covering the venue layout, delegate app, networking tips, schedule overview, and how to make the most of the summit programme.

Monday, 20 July 2026
An invitation breakfast for women leaders in digital, government and industry. Hosted by the PNG Women in ICT Taskforce and USAID WomenConnect. Features a short address from the DICT Secretary and peer networking tables.
Early access to the innovation exhibition floor before the formal opening ceremony. Meet exhibitors, see live product demonstrations, and collect partner materials before the main hall fills up.
Informal post-plenary networking on the terrace. CanapΓ©s and drinks served. An opportunity to connect with speakers, sponsors, and fellow delegates ahead of Day 2's parallel tracks.
NICTA's annual dinner for telecommunications licensees, spectrum holders, and regulatory stakeholders. Formal invitation required from NICTA. Features the announcement of the Spectrum Efficiency Award.

Tuesday, 21 July 2026
A closed-door coordination forum for Australian and Pacific development partners active in ICT and digital economy programmes. Covers programme alignment, joint reporting, and Pacific Digital Strategy updates.
Pre-scheduled 20-minute meetings between PNG tech startups and investors, accelerators and potential partners. Book your slot through the delegate app. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come basis.
A closed-door session for heads of ICT across national agencies to align on shared infrastructure roadmaps, procurement strategy, cloud migration, and the whole-of-government cybersecurity baseline standard.
Celebrate the Day 2 startup showcase with founders, investors, and the broader tech community. DJ, drinks, and an open mic for founders who want one more pitch. Organised by PNG Tech Hub.

Guided tour of the APNG-2 submarine cable landing station and the national internet exchange point. See the physical infrastructure that connects Papua New Guinea to the global internet and learn about the open-access wholesale broadband model.
Technical visit to NICTA's national radio frequency spectrum monitoring facility. Learn how Papua New Guinea manages its electromagnetic spectrum, detects interference, and prepares for 5G frequency planning.
An evening event for students, young professionals, and aspiring tech entrepreneurs. Features mid-hackathon team demos, lightning talks from Pacific tech founders, and open mentoring sessions with industry leaders from the summit.
Day 4
Thursday, 23 July 2026
High-level roundtable for ministers responsible for ICT, finance, education and commerce to review commitments arising from the summit programme and agree on coordinated follow-up actions across government.
The National Innovation Hackathon culminates with live product demonstrations from the top 10 shortlisted teams, judged by a panel of ministers, investors, and technical experts. K 50,000 in prizes and adoption commitments from government partners announced.
The official closing dinner of DTS 2026. Featuring a traditional Papua New Guinean cultural performance, the Digital Transformation Awards recognising outstanding contributions across government, industry and civil society, and closing remarks from the Minister for ICT.
